More happy dance teachers and parents

It has been such a great pleasure creating so many fantastic edits and remixes for dance studios, teachers, and parents. In addition, we’ve done music edits for the winners of the Dance Mom of the Year contest that was held earlier this spring on DanceMom.com. Here’s what the grand prize winner had to say:

“Had Sav’s ballet solo music edited by Squirrel Trench Audio (A DMOY prize).  He did an AMAZING job!  Sav’s ballet teacher was thrilled and impressed!
THANK YOU!”

Dance Mom of The Year contest winner

In addition, we’ve created some slamming remixes for Rhythm Dance Company in Westborough, Massachusetts, and are looking forward to having them performed!

“Just listened once through- I Love it and am so glad I found you!!!  I have more mixes to send your way if you can do them!! Thanks again!  Psyched we can work together.”

Congratulations to the Dance Mom of the Year

Dancemom.com‘s online competition for the Dance Mom of the Year has just wrapped up. Squirrel Trench Audio is proud to be a sponsor of the contest, and will be providing a free music edit to two winners from Week 2 of the contest, and two music edits to the grand prize winner.

You can view the entries from the three finalists to win the grand prize.

Congratulations to Savgirlsmom for winning the Dance Mom of the Year title! Also, congratulations to MelPadgett and BerriCre8v and all of the other “momtestants.” You are all winners in my book.

In addition to the two winners from Week 2 (PinnellMom and GumbysMom), and the grand prize winner (SavgirlsMom), Squirrel Trench Audio will also be giving two free music edits to the runners-up, both MelPadgett, and BerriCre8v.

Unique music source for choreographers

At many competitive dance studios, guest choreographers are invited to create routines for the most advanced students.

If you are such a choreographer, and want to bring a unique world-class song remix to your students along with the unique world-class choreography you are creating, look no further than Squirrel Trench Audio. I can take your concept and create a unique song interpretation which can then provide the inspiration for your unique choreography. If you are a world-class choreographer looking for unique music which works in a competitive dance format, send me an email.

Squirrel Trench Audio has created the music for a Mr. Junior Nationals Superstar winner in 2011.

Bringing home the Platinum

Squirrel Trench Audio is proud to have played a small role in helping a senior dancer bring home a Platinum and first overall performance at the Onstage New York regional competition in Springfield, Massachusetts last weekend. The number, When Doves Cry, is an original jazz choreography and performance by Brianna Roland. She did her own music editing of the Prince song as well. The dance is truly spectacular. Prior to this weekend, the music had a small hiccup at the ending. I fixed the hiccup, making the ending as flawless as the dance. Brianna was ecstatic to finally have perfect music to go with her beautiful performance. And the results couldn’t have been better: A Platinum award and first place overall. Congrats to Miss Senior Titlist, Brianna Roland!

If you also have a hiccup, glitch, scar, or other awkwardness in your music, it’s not too late to get it fixed in time for Nationals.

And now, Brianna’s routine has been uploaded by Headliners!
